Country side around us

Dursley is in a very nice area if you are looking for countryside, as we are on the edge of the Cotswold's. Also on the other side is the river Severn.

RIVER SEVERN
The river Severn is the longest river in the uk. It has a few things that I will point out that are well known. The river severn has the 2nd largest tidal range in the world. Also it has a thing where very big waves come crashing along it called the severn bore, people sometimes surf and do other things l;ike motor boat on it. It is a lovely sight to behold.
There is a web link on the main page to the website!

Dursley rec

The rec have been doing dursley's fireworks for a very long time, over ten years. Basically every year there's something new for us to see. The fireworks have sparked a history in dursley and the rec (dursley recreation ground) is where they've been held.
For me allot of things have happened at the rec that I should remember. Like when I got my first ever bike with a small basket at the front and stabilisers at the back. Then I played football there with a club and my friend. I also broke my arm there playing in the playground, I was on my bike so I had to wheel it home. IT HURT!
So there  are allot of things that happened at the rec.

Dursley town hall

Dursley's town hall is magnificent. Maybe not the ideal place for a lecture or a party, but still it's our town hall!
You could say it's not the most inviting town halls but it's a place where many markets are held. An out door overhang with queen Anne as a statue. So you can see it's got it's own way of being majestic!

Dursley changes

A lot of things have changed since I've moved here.
Say, like Rednock school from a disheveled old school to a beautiful hi tech science school.
Or the new space age library.
Or even the new fire engine and many more.

So you see how cool Dursley is.
Its just SOOOOOOOOOOOO new!
(some parts though!)
